Foundation Course
Nail technology has become increasingly popular over recent years and can provide an excellent income for well trained professional technicians. This course is designed for beginner's and covers nail enhancement technology, manicure, pedicure and nail art. It provides students with all the skills that they will need to provide both UV Gel and Liquid & Powder nail extensions.
Beginner's Course
This course has been specifically designed for beginners and assumes no previous relevant knowledge. It will provide the student with all of the skills and knowledge that they will need to begin work as a Nail Technician.The course runs for 3 days in the classroom followed by a 1 day assessment at a later date.
Advanced Sculpting, Custom Blending & 3D Design
This course has been designed for the experienced Nail Technician who wants to further his/her skills in both Liquid & Powder Acrylics and UV Gel. The course shows how to apply and work with sculpting forms, how to mix colours to match and extend the clients natural nail plate along with techniques for encapsulation and fantasy 3 dimensional design work.
Manicure & Pedicure
This one-day course will equip students with the necessary skills to offer their clients Manicure and Pedicure treatments. Students will become familiar with Health and Safety issues and will learn how to provide a full consultation for their clients.
Intermediate Nail Technology
This course has been designed as a progression from the Beginners course and covers corrective work and problem solving skills. This course will teach the technician more advanced skills for finishing & perfecting nails along with nail maintenance, infilling, rebalancing, nail repairs and system removal techniques. Use of electric nail drills is also covered.
Advanced Pedicure
This advanced pedicure class includes the application of paraffin wax and specialised masks. It also covers theapplication of scrubs and exfoliators along with advanced nail art.
